About when is a 98 KIA Sportage due for a timing belt?  I heard 50,000

ok, my speedometer keeps jumping back and forth.  But, get this it only does
it between 20-25 mph!  It has no warrent on it due to millage, but i have no
clue what it is!  Can some1 tell me something about this?

ive got a 2002 kia rio. ive tried everything to find out whats wrong with
it but i dont get anywhere. when i brake,pull off or go over a bump it
makes a loud bang. when this happens i can feel it on my pedals. it doesnt

Does this engine use a timing belt(s) or chains?
If they use belts are they interference type engines,if the belt breaks can
it trash the whole top end?

Just saw a pic and was reading up on the 07 Sorento,it comes with the larger
Sedona engine(3.9?)l,I wonder if the bigger engine wouldn't give better gas
mileage as long as your right foot wasn't to heavy.I would rather have a
larger engine loafing than a smaller one straining.

I have a '03 Sorento LX with approx 45K miles on the odo. I took a quick
glance in the engine compartment and it seems like there are 3 drive belts
