Kia reliability - how does it truly compare?22 Jan 2007 16:36 GMT1
In late 2005 I started conducting my own reliability research. I'm
reporting absolute stats like "times in the shop" that will make the
differences between cars much clearer. I'll also be updating results
four times a year, so there will be information on new models sooner.

My 2006, 4,000 miles, has tremendous wind noise from front driver &

channel gaskets without success. Meeting with area rep next week. Is
this wind noise common w/Sedona?

was hit. Oddly, only the door was hit, there is no damage to any other
part of the body. Would it be safe and economical for me to replace the
door myself? Would it be difficult to replace myself? Or, is this
oil recommendations?04 Jan 2007 20:23 GMT10
My daughter just got an 02 Kia SPortage.  I need to change oil.  What is
recommended for this vehicle in temperatures up to 104 degrees?

My 2006 Rio5 just started showing the check engine light (6000km).  Is
there a way to get the code without a reader?  It is going to take a

anything serious. In some other vehicles I had, there was a way to get

Have had my Kia Sedona for 4 years and has run religiously w/o any
problems ever. Original battery failed, so I replaced with new,
assuming the battery was dead. Several months later, new battery
leaking - took to dealer, was told battery is fine, the alternator is
