Hi i am new to this so i hope i am doing things right. I have a 1998
kea sportage (squire) 4x4, I need to no if they do damage to the
engine if the cam belt breaks or does the engine just stop your advice

I bought a 03 Optima LX 4 cylinder new.  I bought it expecting to get
100 thousand miles on it before buying a new car.  I now have 45,000
miles on it and I have had some problems with it.  The dealer fixed
all of them but it is fixing to go out of warranty.  

A Towing fool broke my key off in the ignition!  It cost $250 to fix.
The know-it-all mechanic said that there were "lines" scored on the
key, probably from some problem in the lock mechanism.  Yadda Yadda.
I've had my last car (and keys) for 20 years, current Kia for 6 years,
