Just got my first Landy, a 300 tdi 90, cracking! Have been monitoring mpg
and according to my callculations getting anything between 33-35mpg. Is that
likely? All info points to 25-28 as the norm. The vehicle is on 235

Military Land Rover31 Aug 2004 09:01 GMT5
My military land rover has an odd button with the word "test" on it,
if you press it a red light on the button lights up, but nothing else
happens, now other land rovers don't have this light, so i am assuming
it is something the Army fitted to it, any ideas what is is? and what

More on Series III Springs30 Aug 2004 21:53 GMT7
Bit of brain pickage if I may..
My Series III's just failed its MOT in spectacular style - but most
expensively on needing new front and rear springs. The best quote I've
had so far is about 550quid to do the replacement - so was wondering..
Disco 1/200 heater oddness.30 Aug 2004 14:55 GMT1
Noticed yesterday that the heater declines to blow hot air.  There's hot
water in the pipes leading to/from the heater, in the engine bay, and since
the gas vapouriser is piped in series with the heater, i conclude that it's
circulating correctly.  The only obvious fault I can find ...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2487685580
It's a SIII steering wheel, currently on for £92.
Am I missing something here, or is there a reason for paying £92 for
OK, Aiming to be a permanant member of the group!29 Aug 2004 20:08 GMT3
Well, my Discovery purchase fell through due to the fact my business partner thought it was too big & not
really what he wanted (FFS) I'm a reasonable kind of bloke so we agreed to get a couple of Subaru WRX
(exactly!) as he has never had a choice in a car & I have. I prefer to ...
3.5 EFI injectors + extra air valve29 Aug 2004 14:51 GMT5
I am currently trying to make my 1986 Range Rover 3.5 EFi run
propperly on petrol after having run only on LPG for 2 years. I
replaced the fuel lines which had rusted out as well as the fuel pump
but despite then running on petrol it was very rough compared to
V8 coolant loss29 Aug 2004 13:14 GMT2
I have a 3.9 litre V8  Which is loosing considerable amounts of coolant
and pressurising the coolant system. I have traced it down to a leak
somewhere on the no7 cylinder(lh side rear, misfire at start-up and corroded
sparkplug) My question is what is the most likely failure the ...
