| Please be more specific on installation for Washer Reservoir for 1998 Discovery | 14 Sep 2004 02:15 GMT | 2 |
I have tried to unhook the old one by unscrewing the two bolts behind the reservoir. After I unscrewed it, I couldn't lift up the reservoir. Something got stuck underneath the reservoir, may be another bolt or something. Please help. Thanks.

| Series wheel nuts | 14 Sep 2004 00:35 GMT | 24 |
I've fitted a set of silver modulars to the Series 2a (to go with the 235/85s), using the original wheel nuts. The nuts don't seem to seat properly in the holes in the rims, and even fully tightened there is about 2-3mm of thread inside the nut that is still visible. They are

| V5 and seating capacity for 110 csw ?? | 13 Sep 2004 22:06 GMT | 8 |
Does anybody know the reason why my V5 has no number for seating capacity although the vehicle is a pukka factory 110 csw ( 12 seats as standard ) ? I just had a rejection from Congestion Charging because the V5 does not show 12 seats.

| Woes of my Disco | 13 Sep 2004 21:27 GMT | 15 |
Oh well last night at 11:45p.m. (Friday) I wandered outside to check the Disco. All was well but I wanted to just check the gear lock was on so I wandered inside for ten seconds to get the keys, anyway some local lads walked past the Discovery and kicked off the wing mirror (not ...

| 110 CSW Tyre Pressure | 13 Sep 2004 20:52 GMT | 21 |
I've searched high and low (not to mention far and wide) for a definitive answer to this one. Land Rover suggest 28 psi front and 48 psi rear. The vehicle usually has 3/4 bodies in (still kicking) but otherwise unladen. I'm running Pirelli scorpions if this matters.

| Wanted - Series IIa Blank Chassis Plate | 13 Sep 2004 19:27 GMT | 2 |
Does anybody know where I can get a blank chassis plate for my IIA rebuild? Although it's got the chassis number on the dumb iron, I need the plate for inside the cab. Sure somebody must be re-manufacturing them?

| 'Barn Finds' - do they exist anymore??? | 13 Sep 2004 19:26 GMT | 55 |
I don't know if i'm alone in my sentiments here but it doesn;t seem that long ago that old Landrovers were all over the place. It seems like you couldn't let a week go by without hearing about or seeing a old Landy 'at rest' somewhere (ie, in a hedge). I remember going to

Your advice please gents, could hydraulic followers "pump up" if too heavy a grade of oil was used? I have had difficulty starting when hot on my 3.9 Disco, ( symptoms appear to be low compression and flooding) , testbook reveals no

| Grease Gun. | 12 Sep 2004 20:42 GMT | 2 |
This isn't off-topic, (honest!) as I'm sure you've all got a grease gun to lube those prop shafts up. Well I've just bought one, and I'm having a little difficulty understanding the instructions, and I wondered if anyone could perhaps translate for me.
