Eurovox radio/cassette..how to remove?  Help!11 Sep 2004 11:01 GMT4
G'day workers....
Before I do a 'trial and error monstering' to remove the Eurovox 6315R
radio/cassette from my 1997 Defender, has anyone ( who knows) got the time
to outline the method of getting the unit out of the dash ?

This follows on from an earlier posting i made.
I have an 88 EFi with a gas conversion, the gas side of things has
been sorted and it runs on gas fine, though a little underpowered.
When switched to petrol though, the engine wont start, if you look at

I was adjusting the drum brakes on my 110 today...
all went well on the rear left, I took the drum off to see how the
cams work, then put the drum back on and adjusted, no problem.

took a step forward today, seat arrived from BLRS.  Not bad, I only ordered
it on monday, and it's a non-standard line which they had to cover the
cushions specifically for, so they weren't on the shelf.

this is a bit of a strange request...so, please bear with me....
I want to change the wiring loom on my SWB 2a. the original is tatty
with a loads of extra wires for lights, etc that have been added and

I'm about to fit some flourescent lights into my 110.
question is, the interior light switch on the dash, it also switches
the dash panel lights on and off but only with the sidelights, does
this mean that it needs the sidelights on to switch the interior

I have found a local company who can cut and fabricate it to order.
I have decided, shiny or not that I shall face the furnishings in my camper
with chequerplate, not the conventional plywood, it will be interesting and
more secure :)

Can anyone in the group tell if the lift pump on a 300tdi engine can be
serviced, or is it a throw away item?
Mine appears to be leaking between the top and bottom halves just a few
drips a minute whilst idling.

The left-hand engine mount (the one under the air-filter box) of my
Freelander seems to be oozing a dark red fluid. I can't find any othet
source of a leak. Can anyone confirm that this mount contains an oil damper
(i.e. that it needs replacing)?
