I've just removed the overdrive from my S3, and I hear stories about people leaving bits behind attached to the gearbox. Can anyone confirm that I have got everything I need to refit to another vehicle. I have removed, from the back of the mainshaft:

have 4 Mangals steel wheels and new Colway tyres. Tyres are remould 205 x 16. Wheels are boxed and tyres never fitted. Bought in error!! I (well, my company actually) paid £240 to Paddock's for these a couple of weeks ago. They are just taking up space, so I want shot.

I have a '96 Disco, 4.0L, automatic. I have a terrible time trying to engage 4-low. When I attempt to engage the transfer case keeps slipping out. I have had no troubles with my '89 RR or the '90 RR. Any suggestions?

Has anyone ever heard of a problem with early TD5's where oil manages to get into the wiring loom around the injectors and eventually gets to the ECU? This has happened to a friends TD5 and I just wondered if it was a known problem and how I could check to see if my Defender ...

A thought has just occurred to me on the way to work: If I have a Series 2a which is still a bit undergeared, despite the fitting of 235/85 tyres, which has 4.7:1 diffs... And I have a trialler, which would not be harmed and might be improved
