I have a TD5 Defender and we were on a long trip up the Canning Stock trip and the Rudall River here in WA when the retaining nut that holds the bearings and seals onto the stub axle came off. The vehicle was supposed to have been fully serviced by the local dealership. Southern

I have a K Reg 110 CSW, 200Tdi. The first sympton I noticed was when starting. I would turn the key to the on position and hear a relay or two clunk as expected. After the glow plug wait, as I turned the key from the 'on' to 'start' position,

Forgive me, I have bought a Toyota and sold my Discovery. I already miss it!! What is it about Land Rovers? I had quite a few maintenance issues with the Disco but still miss it. Maybe I need a Series SWB to fulfill my apparent addiction?

Been looking at the ex-MOD Landrover 110's over at Witham Special Vehicles website. Has anyone on here driven one of these things? What's the typical MPG of these 2.5 NAD's, and what is the maximum speed they'll do?
