| Xenon Driving lights | 26 Sep 2004 00:25 GMT | 4 |
I recently bought a piar of Xenon (blue lamps) for my Range Rover. Not being clued in on the technology I took the advert at face value, believing that the Xenon source really did give a 30% boost in light output. Upon receipt of the lamps I realized I'd be conned. Yes I'm sure ...

| 200Tdi rebore costs ? | 24 Sep 2004 12:58 GMT | 5 |
Having had the lid off the 200TDi we recovered from the Disco, it has some moderate grooving in cylinder 2 and 3 - probably broken rings. Any rough ideas on rebore prices ? I assume it'll need new pistons, but will they rebore only two pots or do you have to do them all ?

| P38a diesel: aircon: refrigerant leakage | 24 Sep 2004 12:41 GMT | 2 |
My 1998/99 RR aircon is leaking its refrigerant and the problem is getting worse. Pumped up in May it lasted until August. Pumped up again it lasted two weeks. Now the normal charge of 1100 grams goes down to 300 grams overnight, so it is a pretty rapid loss.
