1990 Discovery V8i

Which is the best Discovery for me ?31 Oct 2004 22:19 GMT1
I drive lots of motorway miles and want something to cruise at 70 all day. I
am thinking about a 1996 / 1997 Discovery. I used to have a 1995 diesel and
I know that cruising at motorway speeds for a long time can be a strain so
I'm thinking about a V8 with LPG fuel :-

Is this possible?30 Oct 2004 19:48 GMT7
Got Monty back from the garage today, runs sweet as a nut, but the cutting
out every 6 or 7 seconds is still there. It's passed it's test. I have a
thought about this. The chap mentioned it was blowing crankcase fumes into
the dizzy. He thinks is possibly a worn piston on number ...

It's pretty. Still on its original paint, wired for radio... It's even
got the RAF roundel and Union Jack stickers.
Just a few questions: can anyone recommend where to get comm radio, PA
