Hi Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the fuel pump in the petrol tank on a defender (2000 model, td5, 130). Its making very strange high pitched noises. I think its on the way out, and have been quoted $1450

I am about to buy a Disco 2. It will do a lot of towing but I also want to take it offroad for some novice trials. I will have to fit a towbar. Does anyone manufacture a removable towbar that would allow a decent departure angle.

I have a really really annoying constant squeak coming from my TD5 90 it seems to be coming from directly in front of me while driving. I have taken the Dash directly in front of me to bit (i.e. the speedo part of the dash) and put loads of buts of foam round all the joints but ...

I need to put a split charge system into my 90 (1992 200Tdi). I know I could take the Barney Bodge-It approach and buy a 40A relay and switch and wire it up manually but I want a fit it and forget it type approach.

I've been told that you can run a diesel engine on domestic heating oil. I don't intend trying it as it would be naughty but is this true? he said he mixes it with a quarter diesel.

whey hey, look at me getting all technical...... ive stripped my series 3 suffix D gearbox and the mainshaft bearing that came off was stamped with 4 circles, i take it this is to denote the bearing is manufactured to extremely tight tolerances,
