| OT: Had to buy it!!!!! | 05 Oct 2004 11:08 GMT | 8 |
Even though the brass shell is definitely not a genuine Tiger Tank item (Tiger Tanks did not exist in 1941) I bought it for our office. We have a 'debt recovery' department that consists of:- A claymore sword on the wall, a very large knife that could gut a whale, a Maxim MG ammo ...

| Disco zf 4 spped | 05 Oct 2004 10:48 GMT | 3 |
I recently posted a quiz about the lock up clutch on my 300tdi not always loking up when it should. I have since replaced the oil, however the H#**es lists the capacity of the auto box as 9.8l and I drained about 4,5l and replaced the same amount. Thus

| punctures | 05 Oct 2004 10:28 GMT | 7 |
Hi. My series 3 has the standard road wheels with tubed tyres. I've had a spate of punctures recently, caused as far as I can make out, by flakes of rust (from the inside of the wheels?) penetrating the tube (the outer casing of the tyres seems intact). Anybody got any solutions? ...

| LT77 / LT230 repairs | 05 Oct 2004 10:27 GMT | 8 |
OK... I know some of the answers but not all - The transmission in the disco is as clonky as a clonky thing, and some of it seems like the infamous shaft wear problem, (in fact, most - there's nothing obviously wrong anywhere else, and the noises come from the "right" place).

| RR Classic Rear Seatbelts | 05 Oct 2004 09:10 GMT | 1 |
I have a 1985 Range Rover Classic (5 door) and need to fit rear seatbelts for a childs seat. Apparently rear seatbelts were never fitted to South African RRs and thus are not available here either new or secondhand. Should there be mountings for the conventional shoulder and lap ...

| bah | 05 Oct 2004 07:26 GMT | 7 |
while travelling at my usual immodest pace down a bit of very uneven road the other day, I noticed that the disco appeared to be prone to wander all over the place. "Hmmm," I thought (OWTTE) "I wonder if the tracking's out". Took it into the local garage and sure enough, toe out by ...
