of $2000 whilst up on the hoist noticed uneven tyre wear on the inner rear

the brakes saga....05 Oct 2004 19:56 GMT8
I managed to get my troublesome brake drum off today, last time I was
trying I sprayed loads of WD40 at it and in the meantime it must have
worked it's magic.
Inside I found the piston had a big hole worn into the seal on one
It's 6:57 are you going to work???05 Oct 2004 19:10 GMT17
....that was my subtle hint I got today.. indeed I was going to work and
needed to be taking the night shift off at 7.00am.
It's amazing how quick you can do your morning abloutions when you really
need to. However this was only my first test. Whilst quickly having a shave

than 3x9

A scan would be most greatfully appreciated.
OT: Had to buy it!!!!!05 Oct 2004 11:08 GMT8
Even though the brass shell is definitely not a genuine Tiger Tank item (Tiger Tanks did not exist in
1941) I bought it for our office. We have a 'debt recovery' department that consists of:- A claymore
sword on the wall, a very large knife that could gut a whale, a Maxim MG ammo ...

Anyone know if they're available in the UK, if so, where from?

WAY OT: Laptop internet connection05 Oct 2004 11:00 GMT4
So when I'm out in my LANDROVER sat with the laptop in my knee and need to
surf the group :-) (OK so it's a real vague link to get remotely On topic!)
Whats the best way to get the Laptop to surf the net whilst sat in a field.
Wifi? I have a card for home, is this reliant on ...
Disco zf 4 spped05 Oct 2004 10:48 GMT3
I recently posted a quiz about the lock up clutch on my 300tdi not always
loking up when it should.
I have since replaced the oil, however the H#**es lists the capacity of the
auto box as 9.8l and I drained about 4,5l and replaced the same amount. Thus
punctures05 Oct 2004 10:28 GMT7
Hi.  My series 3 has the standard road wheels with tubed tyres. I've had a
spate of punctures recently, caused as far as I can make out, by flakes of
rust (from the inside of the wheels?) penetrating the tube (the outer casing
of the tyres seems intact).  Anybody got any solutions?  ...
LT77 / LT230 repairs05 Oct 2004 10:27 GMT8
OK... I know some of the answers but not all - The transmission in the disco
is as clonky as a clonky thing, and some of it seems like the infamous shaft
wear problem, (in fact, most - there's nothing obviously wrong anywhere
else, and the noises come from the "right" place).
RR Classic Rear Seatbelts05 Oct 2004 09:10 GMT1
I have a 1985 Range Rover Classic (5 door) and need to fit rear seatbelts
for a childs seat. Apparently rear seatbelts were never fitted to South
African RRs and thus are not available here either new or secondhand.
Should there be mountings for the conventional shoulder and lap ...
bah05 Oct 2004 07:26 GMT7
while travelling at my usual immodest pace down a bit of very uneven road
the other day, I noticed that the disco appeared to be prone to wander all
over the place.  "Hmmm," I thought (OWTTE) "I wonder if the tracking's out".
Took it into the local garage and sure enough, toe out by ...
