| Lengthening a disco body | 20 Oct 2004 05:46 GMT | 8 |
Right all, it's that time of year again after the rallying season (for me) has finished and I start considering mods to the 110 for next year. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I had a drive in a friends disco recently and really liked the comfort / driving position, actually having ...

| RRC forward to reverse noise. | 19 Oct 2004 21:51 GMT | 4 |
Not a clunk, it's more like a noise you get if your brakes aren't correctly applied with an auto & then you put it into Drive. If you know what I mean? It's got the BW transfer box I believe (no difflock) Not right bothered by it, but wouldn't mind knowing what it was?

| Freelander: noise geting on my nerves | 19 Oct 2004 16:37 GMT | 1 |
I bought a two-year-old freelander TD4 this summer adn I was fairly excited about this car. By now, however, this Car has become a real nuisance. There is a strange sound (creaking, sometimes like polystyrene on glass....) and I cannot find its origin. Maybe it is in the the left ...

A question for a mate really, but he has a 300 tdi es auto Discovery. When driving it under normal conditions it drives ok, if anything it is a little under powered. I think thats down to a Turbo problem?????? there seems to be a blowing sound when the Turbo spins up, a bit like

Hi all, I`ve just bought a 300 series Discovery & want to put my Kenwood head unit & CD changer in it. On the back of the Landrover unit there are the 2 plugs that make up the ISO plug & a 3rd plug. On my Kenwood there is only the ISO connector. What do I do with the other plug to ...

| Advice on the best tyres to fit my Range Rover please. | 18 Oct 2004 19:03 GMT | 18 |
I have a 3.5 EFi Range Rover, and live at the bottom of a steep winding hill, at a guess i would say the hill is about 1 in 4. I also have a large heavy trailer (maybe 2 ton) that i have to pull up this hill once or twice a week.

| 300 Tdi oil, still unsure !! | 18 Oct 2004 18:38 GMT | 7 |
me again I'm afriad. I posted about engine oil and what to use and the replies were an eye opener as I never realized the criteria for the correct oil. I have a good idea now, but cannot find a suitable oil in the shops. I want to get 10/40 or 5/30 with an API CH4 or CI4 spec or ...

| Freelander replacement? | 18 Oct 2004 17:27 GMT | 13 |
Is there an updated version of or a replacement for the Freelander due anytime soon? I might find it tempting if it were just slightly larger and had something more powerful than the Rover-sourced V6 avaliable. I'm not quite sure why they've kept on with that powerplant, seeing as ...

| Defender 90: North American return? | 18 Oct 2004 16:58 GMT | 3 |
I'm trying to spur some conversations here I guess. But I was thinking about how cool the Defender 90 was/is and how dissapointing it is that the model has been missing from the U.S. for so long. Considering how "bare bones" they are, I don't see any reason why the 90 and 110 ...
