after I had my Freelander TD4 (two years old, 20000km) at Landrover's one
week ago to get rid of nasty squeaking sounds in the driver's door I got a
new surprise yesterday:
I put in the ignition key and was still sitting in the car before starting

Noticed a heater problem now that the weather has started to turn
cold.
Engine runs up to working temperature with no problems with temp guage

just bought a 98 disco and noticed high pitched screech. applying brakes
even very lightly makes the noise stop. a few seconds later it starts back
up again. sounds like the front left wheel is the source. is there an easy
way to stop this noise?

Im usually ok at this sort of thing but this has me stumped!
I own a 2.5TD 110 station wagon which is experiencing a problem when
starting in that when i heat the plugs, the dash volt meter drops (is
this right)& when cranking over it sounds as if the starter relay is

Any advice welcome.
For some time my 300tdi disco has kept on running when I turn it off. This
was intermittent at first. Took it to main dealer who "cleaned the fuel cut
off switch" but advised a new one ... for lots of ??.
