I found this on another newsgroup, and as the program

would pass it on.

110 crossmember10 Nov 2004 23:24 GMT1
Gents,
The cross member on my 94 110 Defender CSW is knackered. I have a new cross
member with longitudinal chassi section. Can i remove the internal floor for
access or is it a tub off job.
Fuel guage.....stuck?10 Nov 2004 23:23 GMT6
OK this is probably not on the most urgent list of stuff, but my fuel guage
has stuck at the half way point. I expect it could be the unit in the
dieseld tank itself, if this is the case has anyone any idea how big /
expensive a job it is to repair or replace? The car in question ...
I'm in the sh*t, injector pump....10 Nov 2004 22:47 GMT18
OK,
I changed my fuel filter today, I was then bleeding the injector pump
as some air got into it.
When I tightened the bleed screw the bit it screws into sheared off.
Slight knocking under load & let off load (RRC)10 Nov 2004 20:27 GMT5
Sounds like something on the NS rear possibly front under load (on take up & let off of load) It's not a
heavy clonk or similar. It's more like a muffled heavy tapping. I though the exhaust at first, but it
seems tighter than a nuns muff.
Any ideas fellow contributors?
Copy of first Disco3 report on TopGear?10 Nov 2004 20:03 GMT2
Hi peeps.
Frustratingly, not only did I miss it the first time around, but I
managed to miss the first 10 minutes of tonight's re-run, landing in the
middle of the News section. The finall off-roading was incredible to
Buying a Disco II10 Nov 2004 14:22 GMT9
Hi,
I'm probably about to join the elite group of Land Rover owners with
the purchase of a 3 year old, LR Approved, Disco TD5 ES series II.
I've dug about fairly extensively on the net trying to find
Seatbelts for an MOT10 Nov 2004 10:03 GMT3
I have just purchased a Williams Racing Harness (3 point) for the Drivers
seat of my series 3 , 88inch, 2.25 petrol. Now the harness secures in by eye
bolts and is three point. It has little clips not unlike the Disco seatbelts
for the straps.

Weber Carb spares?09 Nov 2004 21:20 GMT3
Anybody got sources for spares for my Weber 34ICH? The needle valve
has gone, and I need an overhaul kit. Paddocks kit is half the cost of
the carb, surely this can't be right? I might just as well buy a new
carb as service it.
Is this restorable do you think?09 Nov 2004 20:58 GMT42
What you reckon - restorable or not - looks like a lot of work to me - and
no, I did not buy it!

On the way home tonight..........result!!09 Nov 2004 20:57 GMT45
From Huddersfield to Bradford I pass by Cooper Bridge Scrapyard. I had an hour to spare, so I popped in
to see if they had a RRC in. They did have one & it was nearly complete & in amazing condition. It has
only done 35k & you really can tell, so I yanked out me tools & got to ...

Goodrich AT tyres ? Trac edge ?09 Nov 2004 20:37 GMT7
Long time since I've been looking for tyres. BF AT's and Trac edge mix at
present. I know AT's were discontinued some time ago, replaced by Trac Edge.
Now I have an idea that Trac Edge were dropped some time ago ? KO's replaced
them ? Are KO's reasonable in comparison and would they ...
