Just been watching Clarkson drive it up a scottish mountain.  Impressive.

Glad to see Top Gear are promoting responsible off-roading, and giving
the rest of the world a positive image of our sport, by driving the
Discovery up a bloody Scottish mountain. As I write, Clarkson is
"flooring it" (his words) up the summit.

Radio display has started to go faded and dim and the little LED bars
that make up the digits are almost unreadable.  Couple of questions:
Is there a fix for this?

I've been offered a complete V8 carbed with gearbox/transfer (4 speed,

Ive had to take the rear shocks off my car. Unfortunately while doing
it both of the pins on the end snapped rather than undoing.

When I got my current land rover it had writing in various pen
scribbled on the back of the sun visors. I've got them in the kitchen

I am just about to install a VDO satellite navigation system into my 98
Freelander (2.0 diesel) as I do not want to pay the exorbitant
fees for installation. I am wondering if any one knows where I can take a
feed from to drive the speed pulse input.

   I am currently rebuilding a 1952 80" Landie Swb and would like to know
what Diesel engine would be best to fit and does anybody have a complete
wiring diagram I could borrow, buy , copy etc?  I am starting from scratch
,as it stands all I have is a rolling chassis and I would ...

Does anyone know if the Scorpion Racing removable towbar for the
Defender is E-certified ? I.o.w., can it be used legally ?

Has anyone taken part in one of these organised events?  £100 for a
weekend's driving seems a bit steep if all the lanes are public roads?
What else do you get for your money?

Our Discovery runs on LPG most of time, we tend to do a few miles on petrol
when we run out. But now on petrol it runs really rough, feels like its
going to stall when on tick over (its fine on gas). I was wondering if the
injectors get clogged if they arent used much?

Anyone know a good one?

notwithstanding that the 101 is a tempting idea, as is the 6x6 disco, the
latter would still not hold enough people, and the former might be tricky
and/or expensive to keep running on a day-to-day basis.

Anyone know if i can get new buttons for the sterio in my 98 disco es ?
tried local main dealer but drew a blank.
