Wandered along to the MOT place today. I need to add I have spent ?3000 on my Kreg 7 seater disco 2.5 TDI in the last three years with the average MOT bill coming in at ?650. I bought the vehicle for ?5200. So I have spent a lot in 3 years.

Any ideas why the brakes on a SeriesII Land Rover wont bleed? I don't own one (yet) but I've spent the best part of half an hour pumping a brake pedal on a friend's Land Rover while he operated the bleed nipples, all without any improvement in pedal travel.

That 101 Vampire Austin spotted in the last Witham auction went for 5500. Quite a bit less than forecast iirc. I didn't save the list of lot descriptions so that's the only one I can match up. Did anyone keep a copy?
