Any one here owns one of the older RRs ('69-'82) running w/ Rostyle wheels? I would like to know if they came with wheel center caps from the factory like those newer alloy type? (the cap says Range Rover) Many thanks.

If pasta is left in water overnight it goes soft,could that be heated up and used, or does it need cooking in hot water? Just a daft question 'cos I eat a lot of pasta and don't want to poison myself.

The mount for my rear shock has sheared off, leaving a sharp rusty stump where there should be a mount on the axle casing. Should I get a new mount welded on, or would it be easier to replace the casing? S111 Staion wagon.

Ok so I want to change the seal between the gear box and transfer box on my wife's series 3. Do I just need the seal or are there going to be other things I need? Are they easy to do without taking the gear box etc. out? Any advice or help will be much appreciated.

A Y-Reg Series3 88" to be precise. The circumstances of this were a little odd. I was driving home from Milton Keynes, land of the concrete cow, and came across a S3 broadside on on a busy bit of road.
