why is it that the rear suspension parts (springs and shocks) are the same yet the front requires slightly stronger on the drivers side? if it was a 90 with the fuel tank to one side then I'd see the point. assuming the engine puts the same weight on each side then that only

| Value of a Full Service History | 19 Nov 2004 15:58 GMT | 5 |
How valuable do you consider a full service history? In August, a reputable Land Rover dealer sold me a year 2000 Defender 110 TD5 (151.000 km), claiming it had a full service history. Despite numerous requests he does not come forward with the Service History

| Tubular Antenna mounting for Disco - where?! | 19 Nov 2004 02:50 GMT | 1 |
Some time ago I found a website which sold a black, powder-coated tubular antenna mount for a Disco. It fitted onto the wheel mounting bracket and clipped over the top lip of the door. The cable could then be run inside the mount and then fed inside the door near to the wheel

| Playtimes over - Re Chassis | 19 Nov 2004 02:36 GMT | 8 |
Ok. Percy is currently refusing to play in his current guise as a Jaguar. I'm now running out of motivation to spend more on the Jaguar lump purely based on the fact that the chassis is now looking decidedly ropey. I've patched

| empty swivels? | 18 Nov 2004 21:26 GMT | 9 |
I went to do my swivels today (the filler plug on one side is a mangled mess that won't move, but that's another problem) I took the drain plug out of one side and nothing came out, not a drip, I waited a full 2 minutes and nothing... the back of the plug was damp with

Rear door on my 94 Disco doesn't unlock properly with the remote. (I'm sorry this is a common fault and I've seen it in the group before) Refresh my memory is this an expensive fix or a nice cheap saturday D.I.Y. job.
