A locktab for series 3 gearbox mainshaft (217476) or maybe a couple.
Craddocks do them for 10p but when you add the postage its outrageous and
currently i don't need enough stuff to make it upto free postage.

I have a TIM electric temp guage in my V8 90. It has twin electric fans with
a Kenlowe temp switch. At the mo I have it set so the fans come on at 80?C.
Does anyone know if this is correct or should it be set higher?

I have a friend with a S3 that's been laid-up for a while, I
understand the front axle case is badly corroded/holed.
Can anyone give me a guide price for a replacement front axle
complete, either recon or known-good?

My 110 LWB 2.5 N/A diesel went bang on Monday.
Any clues on which bit of the engine it might be.
Symptoms are:  Gradually increasing black smoke, loss of power gradual - but
might have been the MOT station backing off the fuel mix for the emissions -

Has anybody bought rear bench seats from  Paddocks? At £25 a set I am
tempted   but are they as flimsy as they sound as the only other ones i

I recently purchased a 1980 V8 rr, its in need of an oil change,( its got
about 3 liters too much in and is smokin like you wouldnt believe) i know
nothing of this beast of an engine, apart from there being a possibility of

got this problem with a p38 range rover, gets onto mud and both,
soetimes one front wheel spins until it digs itself in, never seen a RR
do this before, any ideas?

I need to pull my main input gear on my 96 d1.  PTO cover is off, and now I
am staring at the bearing holder, but it wont budge no matter what i do.
Need some hints as to how to get it off as the factory manuals just say
"remove".
