Just placed my first order & the item (one of them) is out of stock. Are they pretty quick at getting
stock or a bit slow?
I'm after a series 3 steering wheel, washer & cap.

Oil Cooler Piping 2,25P23 Dec 2004 18:18 GMT5
I made a mistake and did not take note of the oil cooler piping from the
filter housing on my ser III 2,25 petrol during my engine removal.
Can anyone tell me whether the fitting from the adaptor between oil filter
and engine block should face up or down. (can go both ways)

needs a replacement engine. This comes weeks after the cylinder head was
replaced at a cost of almost ?2000 (luckily was covered by a private Car
Care Plan warranty).

Oil from 200tdi22 Dec 2004 13:55 GMT5
I have a 90 which has had it's engine replaced with a 200tdi. The

Series IIa coolant query21 Dec 2004 18:54 GMT6
Series IIa, 2.25 petrol.
Is there anything required to drain the cooling system, other than
drain the rad and open the tap on the block?  I've just changed the
coolant and flushed the rad, but I could only get about 5L of new
Getting Albert in the morning!21 Dec 2004 18:24 GMT10
Albert the 88" S3 is being delivered tomorrow, cant wait for a good old fashioned 'freeze my nuts off'
session to have a good look round it tomorrow!
Better get some EP90 & engine oil then! Speaking of engine oil, would you recommend some high mileage
