Hi, I've seen a number of old army land rovers at shows, like at
beltring, etc with blue lights on, i would like to fit one to my old
military land rover, but whats the position? it would be a "dummy" blue
light, in so much as it wouldn't be wired into the vehicles electics,

My 95 300tdi Disco emits a beeping noise at 74mph and above. Its
obviously some kind of speed warning device, but I've never come
across anything like it before. The handbook does not mention it.
Any ideas what and where it may be. Its damned annoying and coming out

Does anyone know whether the above LPG converter is still in business? The
last address I have (from LRW) is Attleborough Fields Ind Est in Nuneaton.
Their phone number in the ad now belongs to a residential user and the
mobile is out of service.

My recent purchase of my first ever Landy has me scratching my head
over some bizare door latch behavior. First it was the right rear
passenger door that wouldn't open and I remedied by wedging a tool to
lift the child lock and then removed the liner to lubricate the latch

Go out to my Disco this morning, sit in the drivers seat check mirrors (as
you do before moving off). "Oh Bugger" near side mirror been folded away by

Anybody give me any idea of how big a job this is to do?
I've come to the conclusion that the clunking I've been having is a clutch
problem as I now have a ghastly rattle on overrun and a high pitched
squealing coming from amidships during most acceleration which I'm putting

I currently have 750x16 cross-ply tyres on my 110.
I want to switch to radials.
will 235/85 r16 fit straight onto my current rims?
I'm fairly sure they are the original rims.

I've been given a pair of Heads for a 3.5 V8 along with the gubbins that
came with the eninges I bought for Percy.
Both complete engines are SD1 type 3.5's on carbs. In the gubbins though is
a Rangie Manifold and carbs amoungst these spare heads. Is there an easy way

Right.. its project time again! Costing one up anyway. as.. well. I've still
not cough finished cough the last one just yet. :-S
The thing is, I'm thinking about galvanising my project chassis. Can anybody
recommend any companies who will do this? Preferably in North West England,

In a previous thread you recommended the Real Steel  Viper Cyclone cam. I
have just received their catalogue but can only see the following: standard,
viper hurricane, viper 'stump puller' and viper typhoon plus a few others.
