Amateur Radio & RF in a TD526 Feb 2005 00:39 GMT13
Hi all, I question I'd like to ask.
Is the TD5 immune from radio RF? The reason I'm asking is as the TD5 is
basically all electronically controlled and I'm wondering if anyone on
the NG has any experience of problems prior to me fitting a radio which

Rave CDs25 Feb 2005 17:15 GMT8
All,
On Friday, I talked to a guy at a LandRover dealer about the Rave CDs.  He
said that they don't even have them and the LR doesn't sell/distribute them
(dealers receive their computers pre-loaded and are upgraded

S3 109 Parabolics & Ext Shackles25 Feb 2005 09:37 GMT4
I have seen many posts on this subject of series suspension upgrades and
many different views.
I thought for reference I would let everybody know what parts I've fitted
and how well they perform.
90 security25 Feb 2005 09:11 GMT17
I have just bought a full length canvas and hoodsticks to put on my 90 in
the summer. Was wondering about the best way to make sure its secure. I wont
be keeping anything in it. It already has a hidden ignition cut off switch
but I was wondering about something more ...
LROI - Defender with extra mirrors...24 Feb 2005 23:51 GMT5
I was looking through this months LROI for some explanation of the picture
in the previous issues article about where you can take a bog standard 90
('How Deep, How Steep).  One of the pictures clearly shows the 90 approching
the reader with a second door-mirror on the drivers side. ...
Disco Radio Result24 Feb 2005 21:30 GMT3
My recently acquired 95 Disco 300tdi ES had a broken OEM radio fitted.
Quite common, apparently. The buttons fall off and it stops working.
Trouble is, it also had a cd082 CD changer fitted, and controlled by
the dead radio.

Quick Disco question24 Feb 2005 19:46 GMT10
For a variety of reasons, the Rangie is going to have to go sometime before
the summer, so I've been having a quiet look at a few alternatives.  So far
these have been 300 series Disco autos, early and late models.  Couple of
quick queries for the Discoholics out there:
Discovery DVD remote24 Feb 2005 19:17 GMT2
I eventually got my Landmark Discovery today however the remote control is
missing from the Land Rover DVD system (the roof type). Any ideas if another
remote will work or the codes to use to programme one?
Thanks
That time of year again......24 Feb 2005 18:50 GMT6
Yes, it was MOT time again today, and no little blue piece of paper for me
today, only a BIG blue piece for my SIII.
Most of it is minor stuff, but the tester (old school boy, been around for
donkeys years) has written the following:
Front axle on Disco II24 Feb 2005 18:11 GMT1
Well, it had to happen I suppose.
The breather tube on the front axle had been off for an unknown amount of
time. I would expect quite a few thousand kilometers. In the meantime the
car had been driven on many unsealed roads and had also crossed a very salty
