LR 110 has chassis ? Fiesta has not ? I thought cars nowadays had sub chassis or simply monocoque design. Daughter reckons cars still ahve chassis, trouble is so sdoes friend of hers 30yr old Ford mechanic ! Who's right ? (oh pleeeze let it be me or I can't show my face again and

Hi, my Landy's ignition light has started to stay on after switching off the ignition. It started with a faint glow of the light whilst driving, that then dissapeared after a while and then the light stayed on when i switched

The garage got my 'box out of the disco, unbolted the selector bit off the top, unbolted the one off the RR one which I'd hoped to have put in (the latter is in decent condition, too) and the sods have different selector shafts.

Hi , need new tyre; got origional BFG AT's and 2x Trac Edge at rear, new one needed to front can only find AT Ko's. Are they any good and do they match the old reasonably well so as not to worry re different performance ?? John H

Leaking oil from main rear seal on 2.25 petrol. Blokey at local friendly garage reckons it might be worth trying "this additive you can get to put in the oil that softens and swells old cracked seals", before going to pain and hassle of replacing.

I recently overhauled my 2,25 motor but the head job may have been a bit dodgy. My exhaust makes a lot of noise when I put the accelerator hard with little acceleration.

We are looking for a newer Discovery 1998 onwards and have about £10,000 to spend. Had a Discovery V8 for past 7 years, got large twin axle caravan plus some horrible kids. Any opinions on sticking with a V8 or going for diesel, and going for a late series 1 or early series 2 ...
