| Mud terrains on road | 17 Feb 2005 23:39 GMT | 10 |
How much of a pain in the arse are mud terrains on tarmac noise wise, also will they wear out unduly? and the golden question not often asked here (ha-ha!) how big can I go on my ES alloy rims with a + 2" lift ?

| Audio controls on a Freelander | 17 Feb 2005 23:20 GMT | 1 |
I have a 02 Freelander 5 door GS TD4. Installed is a Land Rover CD/Radio, but I cannot guarantee it is what was originally fitted. As it has been suggested to me that the original may have been just a radio.

http://www.paddockspares.com/shop/pages/defender/info/90_v8_2.htm Looking at the above image from paddocks exhausts, the 101 only has the centre type box fitted and no second box. Now the 101 goes fine, and sounds, erm.... plesant but are there any reasons

| Disco 200TDi | 17 Feb 2005 21:35 GMT | 3 |
Just had a look at k-reg 200tdi, looks okay for the money apart from quite a clunk from reverse to fowards, rocking back and forth. Also when pulling away. Could just be A-frame rubber, but obviuosly more ominous things such as..................

| fitting side facing seats in the back of a series 1 land rover | 17 Feb 2005 08:57 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone know the legality of fitting side facing seats in the back of a 1958 series 1 land rover. Would I have to fit seat belts or not? My front seats do not have them! I hope someone can guide me in the right direction.

| Thought I'd seen everything | 16 Feb 2005 22:03 GMT | 7 |
Got a leaflet shoved through my door offering a free sightseeing trip of London in a Hummer Limo of all things. A Hummer Limo ? never mind this free trip actually would involve eating a lot of pizza to collect the tokens, I wonder what Red Ken and the anti SUV

| Torque setting anybody? | 16 Feb 2005 21:44 GMT | 5 |
Range Rover power steering drop arm nut - early type 3-bolt box. The references I can find are 120lbft but I'm getting fed up with it slackening off! Last time it was tweaked to 160lbft and I had to tighten it again today! Of course this may be the result of a cheap after-market

| P38 Autobiography 4.6 | 16 Feb 2005 20:26 GMT | 4 |
Found one at a local garage in utterly mint condition. It's a 1996 Autobiography with 92,000 genuine miles with every bill ever etc. The best thing is it had a new engine (guess why!) less than 2000 miles ago. Everything works as it should & it has all the usual stuff etc. The ...
