Leaking rear diff11 Mar 2005 00:14 GMT4
The rear diff on my Disco (200Tdi, 1993) is leaking at the output flange. I
replaced the oil seal, which improved things, but there is still a leak.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
TD5 TDI intercoolers10 Mar 2005 21:44 GMT1
Can any body tell me if the TD5 intercooler has a larger air volume capacity
than the TDI unit.  I have recently replaced the Tdi intercooler with a TD5
unit on a Mazda 3.5 SLTi powered 110 CSW. Havnt really noticed any power
difference (although havnt adjusted fuel etc yet).

As the mot on my car is approaching fast I need some Bernzomatic oxygen
cylinders (the disposable ones) for use in my small Oxy-propane set as it
heats up stuck nuts and bolts without setting fire to the surrounding paint
work.

I'm looking for a used Disco with 30-40K miles. I'm expecting to spend less
than $20K and am looking for recommendations for year, model, etc., and
anything to look for. I intend to use the car for commuting, packing up the
family for light traveling, and lots of skiing. Thanks!

I have had a year of trying to solve overheating problems on my 1973 109".

Spongy Clutch Pt 210 Mar 2005 17:59 GMT6
Got round to bleeding the clutch this morning, the only problem was trying
to get the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder!.  Took it for a test drive,
it was as it should be, nice and firm and no difficulty in selecting the
gears.  Had lunch and about 2 hours later decided to go out ...

I recently purchased a 1962 IIa with a top configuration I haven't
seen before...
It has the sides of a hardtop, yet it has a sunsheet and alpine
windows. There are no roof vents.

freed off the two big ones, all good, although it was two and a half
