| clutch pedal spring ??? | 08 Mar 2005 05:25 GMT | 2 |
I undertook the bold action of changing the clutch master cylinder, thereby removing the clutch pedal. There is a spring attached to the clutch pedal and for the life of it, I cant remember where it is attached to. One end hooks into a small hole at the pedal itself, but where ...

| Range Rover 4x4 Question | 07 Mar 2005 20:41 GMT | 4 |
I just got a Rangerover, it only has a control for low and high gear, unlike my old LR that had one to engage the 4 wheel drive. So is the RR perminatly 4x4? Its a 1990 3.9 V8 Vouge Automatic.

| Heated rear screen and interference with radio reception | 07 Mar 2005 20:34 GMT | 14 |
This week my 89 RR has decided to spring yet another sinister surprise on me. When I turn my heated rear screen on I get a dreadful noise on the radio. The filter or choke on the screen must have given up the ghost. Any idea where it is so as I can replace it

| Kenlowe | 07 Mar 2005 20:28 GMT | 15 |
I occasionally blow the fuse to the twin kenlowes on my 110 V8. The plastic surround usually starts to melt first & it may take a while before it finally goes. The fuse is rated at 30 amps. Is it just that I need to uprate it or should I be looking for an electrical fault?

| Buying a Defender | 07 Mar 2005 16:39 GMT | 5 |
I'm after a Defender 110, for around ?7k. Looking around this seems to get me everything from a 1990 to a 1998 age vehicle. The requirement of the vehicle is to be my everyday run about (reasonably reliable) and be an expedition / weekend vehicle at other times.

since fitting new injectors (recon) to my 2.5 n/a there seems to be more smoke of the black variety. This is too much fuel/not enough air? The air filter is coming up to a year old, I don't expect that's a

| clutch | 07 Mar 2005 13:55 GMT | 13 |
I proudly took possession of my first Defender (110 TD5 - 167.000 km) not that long ago. Today I noticed that the clutch pedal seemed to have acquired a lot of play ( > 1 inch). Gears are changing fine however. Am I in for something?

| Late TD300 or Early TD5 Disco????? | 06 Mar 2005 22:28 GMT | 15 |
Hi ....I've heard/read various comments that early TD5 Discos are better avoided because of various mechanical concerns that emeged in the first 2 years or so of production of the TD5 engine. Several people have indicated that it's a safer bet to consider late model 300TDi engined ...
