I have just purchased a 96 V8i disco, seem to be getting only 300km out of a tank of gas !!!!. Is this normal, I have been driving it very carefully and dont do any city driving.

Having solved the recent starting problem on my 90 (it was a very corroded terminal on starter motor which broke off - now have re-con one and starting transformed!!) I am turning my attention to the engine.

Watched Top Gear tonight on BBC World. This was the third episode with the new Disco climbing that mountain... Don't they make anything new....or am I watching the wrong channel? Looks like they keep on repeating old episodes.

98 Tdi Disco. The right hand side driver and passenger curtesy light has stoped working as has the " you have left yours keys in the ignition lock" buzzer. The left hand side and the rear door work as normal.
