1996 discovery V8i fuel usage16 Mar 2005 02:05 GMT9
Following responses from my first post, I marched off to my Landrover
Franchise and questioned why I am getting consistantly 350-370 km's out of a
tank of fuel, this equates to around 20 litres per 100 km. Information is I
should be using around 15 litres per 100 km's.
90 Petrol Tank15 Mar 2005 23:46 GMT5
Looks like I am going to have to replace the petrol tank on my 90 2.5 petrol
as it seeping fuel since I filled right up recently. Checked under seat and
it's not coming from anywhere on top so must be coming through the seams.
Difficult job?

Suspension Bushes15 Mar 2005 20:35 GMT1
More questions from me.
I bought a bush kit for my 1985 RRC and have replaced all the rear bushes
and springs. The bushes are the standard rubber and steel ones.
My method is to replace all the bushes, reassemble the suspension
Land Rover's Sat Nav software15 Mar 2005 13:58 GMT4
Does anyone know if the Sat Nav software that comes as standard on a
2003 Range Rover HSE can be upgraded, and are Land Rover the only
suppliers for it?
300tdi Leaking Injector15 Mar 2005 13:03 GMT2
My 1995 Defender 300tdi has a leaking injector. After driving for a short
while I can see where the fuel has run down the cylinder head from the
injector. The splash pipes are tight and dry. The mounting is tight and
the high pressure pipe is tight and dry. It seems to be from ...
Door mirrors and off-roading15 Mar 2005 11:59 GMT12
Hello peeps, just wondering if any of you lot have come up with a
reasonably easy method of avoiding the fag of having to get out of the
truck, push the wing mirrors in before pushing through some
vegetation, then getting back out to reset the mirrors before hitting
Series Clutch Bleeding15 Mar 2005 09:43 GMT2
I recently got a drip on my foot and took out and overhauled my master
cylinder for the clutch.
When I bled the slave I noted that the cylinder was installed with the bleed
nipple at the bottom of the cylinder i.e. below the incoming pipe.
Series 3 ignition problems15 Mar 2005 08:27 GMT9
Sunday morning laning spoilt my the dodgy electrics again.
The old SIII diesel will sit with the ignition on (charge light and oil
presser lights lit), but any attempt to load the battery kills the electrics
and all dash lights go out. The electrics "recovers" back to ignition-on
Disco TD5 3rd row seats15 Mar 2005 00:32 GMT6
I have the chance to buy an excellant Disco TD5 - 4 years old - but it
only has 5 seats.  I need 7 seats. Is it possible to fit the two boot
seats into a 5 seater and if it is - how much hassle is it?  I would
get the new seats from a scrappies.  I know there are plenty of 7
Series Roof Bars14 Mar 2005 21:07 GMT1
Will roof bars from a Series III fit on a defender, I'm assuming they will
because they both have gutters.

chassis corrosion, 110 CSW14 Mar 2005 20:23 GMT3
I have a 1992/K 110 CSW 200Tdi. There is a nasty looking bit of
corrosion on the offside rear part of the chassis, back from the axle,
around 150mm from the rear crossmember.
I've known about it for a while and was trying to keep an eye on it, I
Rangie Classic - Bottom door pillar repairs.14 Mar 2005 20:13 GMT1
Right, I've finally got around to doing the sills on the Drivers side now.
I've removed the old and placed the new ready for welding up tomorrow.
Hardest bit was the blasted chassis to body bolts and also the running board
bolts which had rusted up a treat.
disco rear door14 Mar 2005 20:08 GMT12
Wife came home from shopping - not amused had to pile it on back seat as
rear door won't open.  Tried locking/unlocking and also from inside of car
and still won't open.  Any ideas?  Disco 300 Tdi 1998.
Cheers
