I have a 200tdi 90 with 148,000 miles. I took out the K&N air filter today to clean it and found oil in the filter casing... With the engine ticking over the oil (vapour / mist) is visibly coming

Right, I know nothing about Land Rovers, but have seen in passing a '68 SWB petrol Land Rover, it has an MOT till January, and the guy says he'll accept ?500. It's got a hard top. I reackon I can get him to to ?400 if I try.

Hi, the ZF 4 speed on my 96 ES V8 is giving a distinct "clunk" when engaging reverse, is this a sign of imminent wallet damage? I hope not, just bought an MR2 Turbo to play with so need bucks to insure that Group 20!!! :-(

I own a 110 and may shortly need to travel 3 hours to go pick up an engine for possible future swap into the 110. The engine weighs around 600-700 pounds. I don't presently have a hitch installed on my 110 so can't presently pull a trailer, so was wondering if it would be

Do you have to have them (on the rear of a 90)? I've taken mine off, to avoid them being ripped off, but I'm wondering if I'm infringing any law; I haven't seen many others around without rear mud-flaps. Thanks,

Having bought a second hand (2000 reg X) V6 Freelander, I seem to be getting extremely poor miles per gallon. I know it all depends ........ and there are a lot of variables of course. Has anyone else with a V6 Freelander experienced poor mileage please?

My 200 TDi Automatic 94 L plate Discovery has a bulge with mesh over it in the first horizontal section of exhaust pipe. Is this a CAT, or am I correct in saying, that no 200 TDi's have CATS. Thanks in anticipation
