P38 r/c key?08 Apr 2005 15:01 GMT1
Alas, probably a common question (err. . . or two):
Where is a good place to get the r/c key cut and programmed for a P38
Rangie?
What price are they?

Disco 1996 Cruise..07 Apr 2005 19:40 GMT5
Cruise control isn't playing ball. Was working fine but not used it for a
while. Lights up ok and according to the fuse box layout the fuse is ok as
the mirrors also work. Get a click from the footwell on switching it on but
non of the steering wheel mounted buttons seem to work.

Unusual way of fixing leak!07 Apr 2005 10:16 GMT2
Well, the well publicised leaky rear axle is being fixed as I type. The
local land rover enthusiast happens to own a garage too. He's going chop up
an old casing with knackered ends & weld in a whole new pan/case assembly.
He's done it on loads of S3's & it works a treat ...

I posted a couple of weeks ago about using a PDA for sat nav and whether it
would work behind a heated screen.
Well i took the plunge and bought a Mio 168 and can confirm it works like a
dream behind the heated screen.

Thought it's about time I changed mine. HBOL says jack the vehicle up but is
this actually necessary or can I do it with the vehicle on the ground?
Thanks

Range  Rover Sport06 Apr 2005 21:52 GMT8
Just read the road test back to back of the RR Sport the equivalent X5 4.8
and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo in Autocar this week. Looks good even if it
