I am going to England tomorrow and have all day Saturday off and what better
to do than visit a good LR dealer?
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Fairly close to a Underground
station would be nice!
ROT: Replacing a Rover 7504 Apr 2005 23:07 GMT18
My car's coming up to its bubble payment which it looks like I'm going to
have to make for a variety of reasons.
The car has a "Guaranteed Residual Value" of £3450 which is the amount of
the bubble.

Anyway, now safely recovered home by Green Flag (excellent service) and have

chance I'll get away with changing pushrods and belt without taking head

Im asking for a friend (said i would lok into it).

Centaur/Half Tracks in general: Why?04 Apr 2005 06:35 GMT7
Hello peeps, something I've wondered for a while and was just reminded
about in another post is the following question; other than them just
being interesting, what's the point of a half-track?  They're slower
than a wheeled vehicle and less manoeverable than a full-track and
New poster - and a bit of help...03 Apr 2005 23:54 GMT4
I've been lurking for a bit, but now it's time for my first post
(though perhaps not in the best of circumstances)...
About 2 months ago I bought a 1983 Series 3 SWB 2.25 diesel.
Generally it has been a good runner, except for a bit of what I
Where to get an allignment done? And some other questions...03 Apr 2005 22:43 GMT10
Hey guys.  I posted on this board once before and got some good help,

My fiancee owns a '95 disco with the 3.9 gas V8.  One of the front
tires is "cupping" and apparently, the front needs an alignment.  From

Just picked up a "nearly new" Disco 3 TDV6 S a couple of days ago, and
have been working my way through the owner's handbook since then.
However, when I go through the SETTINGS menu on the trip computer, I
get a couple of setting options which are not mentioned in the manual:

S2a refuses to idle03 Apr 2005 19:00 GMT9
S2a, 2? petrol, 70K miles.
I fitted a new "Zenith" pattern carb (from Craddocks) about 2000 miles ago.
Since then she has run perfectly, with plenty of power, a smooth idle hot or
cold, and economy improved from 14mpg to about 20.  So far, so good.

I read with much interest on here a long while back, that a sunroof seal for
a 300Tdi was unavailable, well it is................... ?700 and thats
including the complete sunroof! However, someone mentioned that a Peugot
