My car's coming up to its bubble payment which it looks like I'm going to have to make for a variety of reasons. The car has a "Guaranteed Residual Value" of £3450 which is the amount of the bubble.

sadly my timing belt broke whilst on Dartmoor, silly me!! Anyway, now safely recovered home by Green Flag (excellent service) and have prospect of opening her up for examination. She is a 90 CSW 300tdi, any chance I'll get away with changing pushrods and belt without taking head

Just picked up a "nearly new" Disco 3 TDV6 S a couple of days ago, and have been working my way through the owner's handbook since then. However, when I go through the SETTINGS menu on the trip computer, I get a couple of setting options which are not mentioned in the manual:

Seen advertised EBC pads and seen some in local factors ( green red blue ) I assume for different braking usage. Never heard of them are they any good and if so do they have any inherrant problems like brake fade etc. John H

S2a, 2? petrol, 70K miles. I fitted a new "Zenith" pattern carb (from Craddocks) about 2000 miles ago. Since then she has run perfectly, with plenty of power, a smooth idle hot or cold, and economy improved from 14mpg to about 20. So far, so good.

I read with much interest on here a long while back, that a sunroof seal for a 300Tdi was unavailable, well it is................... ?700 and thats including the complete sunroof! However, someone mentioned that a Peugot seal is an exact part. I cant remember if it was a Peugot 106 ...
