looking at buying a 1996 disco that has no fold down seats in the boot, are these an optional extra?. is it easy to fit them? how much would it cost roughly? Paul.

In my defender TDI 300 from 1999 I still have the original seats. When driving longer than an hour I get back problems. Is it wurth getting a new seat to sit on ? Or is it bether to get a whole new seat?

Has anyone any tips for pressing the new bushes into the top damper eye? Current plan is to draw them through with a long bolt and washer with brake fluid as the lubricant.

Aye up, Acquired a popping noise from the end of my exhaust when letting of the accelerator. It's beginning to get worse I have replaced the exhaust manifold and new exhaust but it is still popping..

Just bought an 'official' Landrover CD for the Discovery, workshop manuals, handbooks, parts lists etc etc. Fine and dandy, I hear you all exclaim ... well not bloody fine. It's a CDR so files can easily be deleted or written over, or the CD made

Just Jetwashed the Disco to have a look for any 'marks' from the tyres, and there are none .. What there is, is a shed load of oil from the front left swivel, seals I guess (hope) .. I guess I'll use grease this time.

Checking the fluids on "beast" and I have found the 5AM airflow meter has no wire mesh inside! I have found some gauze in the panel under the windscreen that looks as if it would fit. It's running/idling fine on both Petrol & LPG, I thought if this was out of

I have just finished rebuilding a pair of front brake calipers for my Defender. I would like to paint them to delay the inevitable corrosion, is there a paint suitable for use in high temperature applications such as calipers that anyone can recommend??
