My TD5 Disco has started to hesitate when accelerating (even lightly) when heavily loaded at high speed, i.e. greater than 70mph. Is this a sign of fuel starvation (fuel filter, fuel pump), or something worse/more expensive? Thanks

Anyone know of a cheap mail order place for BFG AT's?, looking for something a bit bigger than the standard 235/70/16 ( I think) that's on there at the moment to fill the 2" lift I put on. Are there 245/75/16's ?

All, A friend of mine is rebuilding a IIB FC and is looking for the bolts and nuts to hold the transmission brake drum together. My local LR dealer claims that there are no bolts/studs shown on his parts diagram.

Disco 1, in fact. Anyone know if you can swap the hinge pins, and if it's worth the effort, or is it easier to swap the whole hinge?

I have an defender TD5 and when my light switch is in the middle my dimm light is burning and that is not normal it has to be out. The other two positions do not work. I have check the switch and he is working. What can be the problem.

Alfie is getting closer to becoming one colour again. Whats the consensus on removal of the rubber trims on doors. The ones about 1/4 up the door with the chrome trims (once upon a time). Anyone any favorite method of reapplication too?

Hi does anyone know the correct measurement fom wheel centre to underside of wheel arch for front and rear of dicovery one V8. I suspect front springs are shagged it spends lots of time bottoming when hitting bump at speed (on road that is)

When running at speed (60 - 70 MPH) for 10mins or so the temp gets very near the red, but no further. When I slow down to 40 - 50 MPH the temp wil still stay near the red for 5 or 6 minutes then it suddenly plunges to below half way!

Before I go make a fool of myself, does anyone know for a fact if a fairy Overdrive can be wangled into a SeriesIII while the box stays fully in place? From offering it up , it seems feasible.... just.
