several options on what to do:
Drivers footwell flooding10 Jun 2005 11:00 GMT12
Hi folks, I have a little problem. The footwell on the drivers side,
(right), in my Disco one 300 TDi is flooding. It happens even if the car is
parked so I guess it is coming in from above rather than from the wheels or
underneath. We have looked under the facia, lifted the ...

Disco II systems failure09 Jun 2005 21:37 GMT18
When I got in my Disco TD5 to drive home tonight, the warning lights for ABS, TC
and HDC stayed on after the motor started. When I went to check it after dinner,
the SLS and Off-road indicators also stayed on.
Is there anything I can check myself before taking it to a repairer? ...
Hybrid09 Jun 2005 19:18 GMT3
I'm putting a 3.9, complete with ZF 4sp auto, and borg-warner into a 90.
I'm pretty sure a few of you will have done this before, what are the
pitfalls I need to look for, and what bits do I need to modify to make it
fit.
Fitting new Radio/MP3 Player, help please?09 Jun 2005 13:37 GMT7
Managed to remove the original Philips Radio cassette, and removed the plugs
from the back which were two speaker plugs marked front left and front right
and a larger plug with a black wire, a white/red wire and a yellow.
According to the diagram on the radio unit:
aircon service?09 Jun 2005 13:00 GMT2
Can anyone tell me what is involved in an aircon service? Mine seems to be
less effective that it was.
I can understand that topping up the Freon (or whatever is in there) might
help if there has been a leak, but what else do they do in a service?
Tyre Pressure09 Jun 2005 09:43 GMT3
I have a set of BFG AT on my 90 TD5, I think they are 175/85 R16 or
185/85 R16. Does anyone know what pressure I should have these for
normal road type driving.
Thanks
Suppliers of Series Window Channel09 Jun 2005 07:52 GMT13
Anybody know where I can buy series window channel by the meter? I
need to do plenty of windows, and it's easier to just buy a roll of
it.
Buying it at paddocks prices for little lengths which are supposedly
For Sale in Staffordshire09 Jun 2005 00:19 GMT11
Due to a lack of space and a royal command to 'Move that rubbish!', which
you and I know is perfectly good overlanding kit, I have for sale the
following.

Rear axle clank when changing direction between forward and reverse (Discovery 2)08 Jun 2005 15:19 GMT5
I have a Discovery Series 2 TD5. When I change direction between forward and
reverse there is a clank from the rear axle. It is definitely not a sticking
brake pad. It seems to be coming from the O/S wheel.
Any clues please?
exhaust paste08 Jun 2005 15:02 GMT3

curious is it meant to smell that bloody awful when its heated from
normal journey.

work done to the running gear but the body is a bit duff , so lots of
