ownership I have bought a discovery (200Tdi) as a second car (or, "a

Does anyone know if it's possible to fit a 9.5" clutch plate and
pressure plate to a 1965 SIIa engine? I understand the later engines
(69-71)  had the larger (originally Diesel) clutch plate fitted,
before they went over to the SIII which had the larger clutch anyway.

Where are the ABS sensors located on a 96 V8 Disco ??
What do they look like?
My ABS light is coming on sometimes while driving, I'm hoping it's a dirty

I may well be getting my hands on an old (2a or 3 its a bit mysterious)
station wagon for spares. It has a non turbo isuzu diesel conversion
which I am not interested in. Any ideas on what the engine and adapter
plate etc. is worth? It is running.

My 1988 Defender 90 has started making a knocking/rattling sound (sort
of a loud tick tick tick) when making hard turns (sounds like it is
coming from the front right hand side), this is before it gets to full
lock, and when on full lock the pump belt wines.

I have a defender td5 year 2000 and i have got light problems (see massage
before) but I have'n got a wiring diagram from the lights.

built-in compass, from the description is just needs a power supply.

damn handy thing to retrofit into, just about anything actually...

I'm in the process of replacing the chassis on a series III.  Is it possible
to keep the front end of the vehicle together so that I can then hoist out
the engine and gearbox and then replace the front end?

What, if any are the differences visible to the naked eye between the
chassis of 200 and 300 tdi disco's.
Did the 200 Tdi have the mountings on the rear of the chassis for the rear
roll bar?
