I have a Land Rover, Lightweight, and various surplus bits and pieces.
What are the pros and cons of the various options for selling them?  
Bear in mind that I live in a rural area, and I'm reluctant to spend
time and money on a long trip which doesn't get the vehicle sold.

My 1990 RR, shows as having no oil on the dip stick, when the engine is
not running. But when it is running, it shows a full, at the high mark.

that SAFETY DEVICES has entered into receivership or something like that
(shutting down, filing for closure etc)

I am trying to get the filter and gasket set for the ZF gearbox in my 96
300Tdi Disco.  The local ZF agents said that if I could get a 10 digit part
number off the box then he would be able to supply it no problem. If I can
