Myself and a friend are considering taking part in some overseas 4x4
event.
We have previously been considering going to Iceland but it is way too
expensive.  Our next choice location is Sweden, particularly the

Tyre tart20 Jun 2005 09:34 GMT4
Thinking ahead, and for the odd shows I'll be attending with Morph what do
folk use to tart up the tyres and get that bulled black look? Given the size
of the tyres I don't want to have to experiment. I've used paint on Tyre
black in the past but I think thats a bit OTT for morph ...

Faraday cages19 Jun 2005 22:34 GMT35
Hi Guys, Just to use my tuppence worth. A car isn't a faraday cage. Take
any hand held device used inside the vehicle like a hand held amateur
radio, PMR 446, a mobile telephone, gatso detectors, a gps satellite
detector and your on glass antenna for your radio, is inside as well.

OT, off topic, aol broadband.
A friend of mine has her broadband supplied by AOL, they fecked up the
direct debits and took more money than they should, now they say she
owes them £80 and won't release her broadband line until she pays up.
Range Rover lower tailgate query19 Jun 2005 16:07 GMT1
I've been advised that a lower tailgate featuring an internal lever would
not swap to fit my '84 Classic Range Rover that currently has an external
lever, due to different pin lock mechs on the body (my tailgate is now
rusting).
Spray or roller19 Jun 2005 13:11 GMT3
No, not underarm deodorant, but painting my 90.
I have access to a compressor paint gun, but some friends say you can get a
reasonably good finish using a radiator roller, plus this comes with the
bonus of not having to mask up yourself or the landy.

Just fitted new brake shoes to my 1985, 110, it went for retest at MOT
station and they failed again on the handbrake, now the transfer box oil
seal is knackered and brake shoes are contaminated with oil from transfer
box.

Servicing a disco question18 Jun 2005 13:49 GMT6
In the service schedule for my discovery 300Tdi (1998)
it never mentions changing the power steering fluid.
Also it never suggests changing the glow plugs.
Are these best left alone? Or would it be beneficial to
