| Green machine | 07 Aug 2005 17:08 GMT | 6 |
Soon to respray my 90, looking for a silk finish rather than a gloss (to better hide the little blemishes) and was going to plump for Deep Bronze Green, but that only comes in gloss. Nato Green comes in silk - how does this compare with DBG as I can't find a colour chart online? ...

| Tax n seats | 06 Aug 2005 21:31 GMT | 7 |
I realise this is probably well known, but after several google searches I have found no useful info, so here goes. Second hand Defenders with no rear seats or windows seem much cheaper than their 7 seater equivalents. I'm guessing its a tax thing.

| intermitent starting | 04 Aug 2005 22:46 GMT | 4 |
For no reason I can gather my 300tdi discovery 1995 year has had starting trouble. The starter motor sounds like it is trying hard to turn over the engine, it sounds like it manages about 1/4 of a turn. one turn of the ign key in 10-15 results in the enginew starting. The starter ...

| Leaking diff pan | 04 Aug 2005 22:02 GMT | 6 |
My Range Rover 1994 is leaking quire badly from the diff pan. It does not appear to be porous, as I understand this is the normal problem. It does not leak when stationary, only when driving or newly stopped so I presume it is a leak above the oil level. Is there an easy / quick fix ...

| Paint Stripper | 04 Aug 2005 18:49 GMT | 35 |
Have been stripping the 101 with good old nitromors, however it is painful to say the least. Wondered if anyone had any products or tips they could pass on. Without a word of a lie it is quarter of an inch thick in places! Taking one layer at a time is taking forever. 10 hours ...
