UJs29 Aug 2005 15:27 GMT5
I need to replace the front (and while I'm at it, rear) UJs on my 1989 DT
90.  However, I'm lead to believe it has a '97/'98 chassis but with the
original chassis number stamped into it.
Can anyone recommend a Part # for the UJs I require, as I believe a '89
Part number of the funny bar behind the front seats on a series 2a safari ?29 Aug 2005 12:41 GMT5
Anyone know?
How much do they cost?

Classic vs P3829 Aug 2005 12:06 GMT3
I used to have a 3.9 V8 classic and sold it a few years ago, I am now back
in the market fore another one.
The question is, which is the best way to go, another V8 and get it gassed
to reduce running costs, or buy a P39 diesel.
P38 2.5 dse29 Aug 2005 12:03 GMT3
Well, gone and done it, bought an N plate 2.5dse in Niagra Grey. The only
thing is there is only one key. Is it easy enough to get hold of another one
or is it a big problem.
TIA,

Hi Richard, have you got an airflow sensor for a discoII V8 yet? Notice your
website says it's pending? (ERR7171)
Cheers,
Badger.

missing bit?28 Aug 2005 20:34 GMT10
while changing the oil and filter on the SIII, I noted that in the bottom of
the oil filter housing was a spring.  The only purpose I could see for this
is to press the filter element up against the mating flange at the top, and
indeed without something to do that, the oil can ...

Pop up garages.27 Aug 2005 23:57 GMT10
A few years back I saw a garage / car cover which was like a U shaped tent
you drive up to then pull up and over the car to form a tent. Any one know
where one can be purchased?
This is for a mucker at work.
bonnet mounted spare on Series IIa27 Aug 2005 22:13 GMT4
I had my bonnet-mounted spare off today to replace the tire.  I noticed
that the mounting plate isn't well attached to the bonnet -- about half
the rivets have pulled out of their holes.  I was thinking of replacing
them with either stainless or brass screws.  Any caveats or ...

Glow plugs27 Aug 2005 13:35 GMT3
Just had my series 3 serviced and she's come back with a problem she didn't
have before. Turn the ignition against the spring to get the glow plugs
working, and no orange light. Thought it might just be a dodgy lamp, but
whereas before she started on the button, with no delay, I now ...
