I used to have a 3.9 V8 classic and sold it a few years ago, I am now back in the market fore another one. The question is, which is the best way to go, another V8 and get it gassed to reduce running costs, or buy a P39 diesel.

Well, gone and done it, bought an N plate 2.5dse in Niagra Grey. The only thing is there is only one key. Is it easy enough to get hold of another one or is it a big problem. TIA,

| missing bit? | 28 Aug 2005 20:34 GMT | 10 |
while changing the oil and filter on the SIII, I noted that in the bottom of the oil filter housing was a spring. The only purpose I could see for this is to press the filter element up against the mating flange at the top, and indeed without something to do that, the oil can ...

A few years back I saw a garage / car cover which was like a U shaped tent you drive up to then pull up and over the car to form a tent. Any one know where one can be purchased? This is for a mucker at work.

I had my bonnet-mounted spare off today to replace the tire. I noticed that the mounting plate isn't well attached to the bonnet -- about half the rivets have pulled out of their holes. I was thinking of replacing them with either stainless or brass screws. Any caveats or ...

Just had my series 3 serviced and she's come back with a problem she didn't have before. Turn the ignition against the spring to get the glow plugs working, and no orange light. Thought it might just be a dodgy lamp, but whereas before she started on the button, with no delay, I now ...
