My 200Tdi has never had a cold start light that works, although the
heater relay can be heard clicking in and out, so starting is no
problem.
However, I would like to have the choke light come on when the heaters

96 Discovery Electric Seat switches....18 Aug 2005 11:33 GMT6
All,
After moving the passenger seat forwards yesterday on my '96 Discovery,
it now won't move back. I swapped over the switches situated on the
side of the cubby box and it moved back fine using the drivers switch -
Twisted Performance Chip18 Aug 2005 09:41 GMT2
My Grizzly Old insurance company (NFU) have added 20% to my policy
because I have had my 90 chipped :-(. The said they realise that it does
no really add to the top speed but it does add to the acceleration. They
make it sound like I am going to do 0 to 60 in about 3 second!! I ...
V8 Questions18 Aug 2005 09:19 GMT1
V8 gurus (Badger+others!) I have a 4.6(bitsa engine) which I've just
taken the head off, it's got a 1998 date code on it.  It's got 10 bolts
holding the head on in two rows - are these stretch bolts at this age?
Valve stem oil seals - how are these meant to come off - is there a

Preparations are underway at a pace and U decided that to stop people
borrowing things out of the boot on our Afrtica trip I would fit rear window
guards. Anyway I watched e-bay for Defender 110 guards and none came up. So
I contacted Mantec. I was quoted £247 (UK) which seemed a ...

Epoxy Adhesive.17 Aug 2005 10:18 GMT12
I saw on An MG is Born Mr Evens using a two part epoxy to glue bits onto the
vehicle. Now I understand that it is not for structural type repairs but I
could use it to add backing pieces to some of the rips and holes on my Srs11
tub prior to filling and repainting.

Rear Axle Radius Arm Barckets- Market Research17 Aug 2005 09:06 GMT5
I've had a number of requests recently for a part to replace
the brackets on the rear axle tube of (mostly) Discovery I's.
I've now found someone daft enough to make them, but I need to
work out how much they are worth (i.e. based on how much they cost
Discovery advice please17 Aug 2005 08:28 GMT14
I will try and stay coherent.... a bit long, sorry, but no-one else to talk
to (how sad is that!).
I have a 1995 3.9 V8 ES Auto which I bought with 12000 on the clock in 1996.
Since then I have worked it pretty hard (tow 2 tons all over the place) and
