Completely OT, but... I have some mini-DVDs from my holiday (Sony Handycam) which I want to store on the PC and play or edit from there. If I insert the mini-DVD in the computer I can play the movies using Media Player, but when I copy them to

| Morocco | 14 Aug 2005 05:59 GMT | 1 |
We went to St Petersburg and back in our Defender TD5 in June and loved every single thing about the journey. The long distance bug has bitten in a big way and we want to go to Morocco in April 2006. If our work was more forgiving we'd go far further afield, but hey ho.

I picked up a SE7 from a non-LR used car dealer yesterday. It has 36K and is pretty much in near mint condition as far as I can tell. I plan to extend the warranty to 7/100K thru LR(already spoke to the LR dealership and they want $2600 which from my research is worth the

| P38 Getting a bit hot & bothered | 13 Aug 2005 11:37 GMT | 3 |
Got an unusual problem on my P38 4.6 at the mo. Every so often the temperature gauge climbs right to the top of the normal range. It can happen if I'm doing a steady 40mph or so not really loading the engine, sat still in traffic, or climbing long hills on the motorway at 75mph ...

| Discs, pads, | 13 Aug 2005 11:09 GMT | 12 |
Marge threw a shoe yesterday, or, more to the point I think I let one of the pads wear down to the metal. Leaving aside the fact I should've realised etc. Paddocks were excellent. Discs are a whole 8.75 each, so it seemed sensible to order

| Defender LWB tyre pressures Hot or Cold check ? | 12 Aug 2005 22:33 GMT | 3 |
I run mine at 35/ 40 for full load on 235/85/16; however I have never really thought to check pressures when cold only when hot. LR manual says when cold and pressure is then 3lb more at working temp. Question is do I inflate to 35/ 40 when cold or make allowance and run them

| Gearbox woes on an N plate disco td | 12 Aug 2005 22:00 GMT | 2 |
