With all the bad news on this forum, I thought I would share that my 1993 Range Rover County LWB (Vogue LSE) with the 4.2 V8 just ticked over 130,000 miles with no real service other than regular fluid changes every 3000 miles.

I'm new to the group and was looking for some advice on a Defender 110 I'm looking at. It's a 200 tdi that's done just under 200k miles but does have a full service history. It's a commercial that has had the gearbox/clutch replaced

Well today I finally got around to doing the compression test I should have done along time ago but never had the kit. Results. 1 = 130 lbs

I was reading the blogs on www.austin-rover.co.uk and found a rant about how Land Rover don't mention BL in their "heritage" info on their website. So - you can tell I have too much time on my hands - I wandered over to look at the LR website.

On my Disco 300Tdi the oil cooler pipes are leaking. The parts catalogue indicates that these parts are superseded. But no indication as to what newer part number they could be replaced with. Any ideas? Or suggestions on trying to fix the leak at the joint of metal

I have BFG A/T t/a on my V8 90. Size is 31x10.5r15. Its used mainly on the road and not towing or carrying heavy loads. Anyone know what the pressures should be. Thanks

Just noticed my (what I assume is ) steering damper hanging down from its off side fixing!!!! It looks simple to replace but what could have caused it to shear off, I haven't been off road in it since I bought it last year (yes sad I know).

My Disco runs fin with out lights, bu when using light after dark - a good idea as I tell numerous kids on bikes! the charging light comes on. I have also noticed the the rev counter is zero and would not trust the speedo which does as it likes. The battery is fine and I have ...

The rev counter is zero and charging light comes on when using the lights after a few miles. No Charging light under normal conditions. Battery is ak and been tested, and a new alternator has been fitted. No change in the the problem Help I have run out of ideas

Ok , just explored the cause of my sudden brake fade. The Discs on the front are past there best. Initial glimpse showed lots of pads.. then the lip on the rim of the discs told another story. I've had to bung a set of new pads on for now knowing that the discs
