A friend was looking at a 2000 7 seater Disco with air suspension.
The ride height button on the dash did not seem to have any effect
(engine running, all doors closed, when button was pressed light would
flash continuously but no apparent change in rear ride height) and

A while ago, I wanted to subscribe to it and never got around to do it.

I recently bought the above metioned vehicle but have come across a few
strange things, it may be normal!  I wonder if anyone can help
1. when I drive over a ramp I hear a clanking noise from the rear of
vehicle,what could be leading to this noise?

I know that the 300 Tdi engine is tuned differently in the Defender and
Discovry - it produces about 10% less power inhe Defender.
Is this done by a different injection pump, or are the fuelling settings
different?  Or something else completely different?

Bought 13 yr old Defender from a Farrier, and even after a year it stinks

Letting down the tyres has done the trick! Fronts now running at 24 psi and
although there is a slight wobble on hitting a bump at 65 it quickly dampens
out rather than developing into a whole body shake.
