| Air suspension Vs Coils on RRC LSE | 13 Oct 2005 11:47 GMT | 2 |
I know it's a bloody expensive system to fix if it goes wrong, but what exactly does the air system offer over the coil arrangement I can fit for a few hundred quid? Does it ride better? I know it can be used on different settings (heights) but does it really give any benefits? I ...

| Steering Assist - not quite LR | 13 Oct 2005 08:44 GMT | 9 |
Any thoughts about converting a Forward-Control to power steering? I have come across a company which do 'Steering Assist' for Ford pick-ups (Rodley Motors, it's a powered track rod) and wonder if this is adaptable to other vehicles, especially a forward-control.

| Realistic cost of LPG | 13 Oct 2005 00:19 GMT | 11 |
System on an older 120K 4.2 LSE engine? I aint gonna be doing silly miles. Probably no more than 3000 a year. Dependant on cost & performance/space losses- is it worth it? I need this car to use lugging big heavy (not really heavy, but heavy enough) loads about that my Subaru

| Flooded Pembrokeshire | 12 Oct 2005 22:51 GMT | 6 |
It may be "nice" in the rest of the country weather wise but it's certainly landy weather in Pembrokeshire. Torrential rain all day has meant that several rivers have burst their banks and it makes driving interesting.

| 3.9 overheating - update | 12 Oct 2005 19:45 GMT | 9 |
A few months I posted a query about my RRC overheating and pressure build up. To recap, I'd just bought it (it was cheap!) and it started to overheat on the way home. Needle stayed just under the red all the way. Occasionally when using it locally it boiled over through the ...

| What a difference new shocks make!!! | 12 Oct 2005 18:50 GMT | 9 |
Just been for a drive in Jasmine after finally fitting the new front shock absorbers last night. There didn't appear to be anything wrong with the action of the old ones, but I have no idea how old they are and she's done over 100K miles now. The difference when cruising along ...

| Disco Tranny Question | 12 Oct 2005 16:54 GMT | 6 |
I have a 2001 Disco. I took her off road this weekend and on the way home I noticed the engine was reving pretty high. At least I think it is, could be my imagination. Anyway, I was hoping some of you can help me out. When I'm doing 50, the RPM's are at 2750. At 65-70 it runs ...

| petrol guage woes | 11 Oct 2005 21:40 GMT | 9 |
I am getting increasingly fed up with the erratic performance of my petrol guage lately. Sometimes it will read full up, sometimes not read at all, and when it is working it shows half full as full and declines from there. Assuming the problem it is most likely at the speedo end has ...
