Slightly OT: Radio 2 debate on 4x4 use in London30 Nov 2005 23:58 GMT12
Not directly aimed at Land Rovers, but as usual we're all tarred with
the same brush, I just tuned in today half way through Jeremy Vine's
show to catch a 4x4 debate but it was full of the usual broad statements
and wild pollution claims with some lady campaigning for congestion
Cough. Splutter. B*ll*cks.30 Nov 2005 23:28 GMT39
Rangie semi-died last night.

Welder in Herts....30 Nov 2005 20:50 GMT1
Bit of long shot being down in the south...but does anyone know a
competent 'weekend welder' in the East Herts area who could weld up a
patch on my Discovery's inner wing and put a couple of spot welds on my
window mechanism which has failed?
Ever bought something then regretted it?30 Nov 2005 20:09 GMT36
Not until I picked up a 1995-M Disco 300TDi!!  Checked it out and all seemed
well, FSH bit of rust but very minor, drove OK seemed a bargain at £2900.

The return of Morph :-)30 Nov 2005 10:53 GMT12

Ma and Pa's today.
Bunged on the last couple of nuts to the dip stick tube. Threw the lid on ,
opened the battery door (incase the starter jammed again) and then turned

1998 Range Rover 4.6 - LPG / Alternative fuel conversion29 Nov 2005 21:30 GMT3
I am a Brit living in California. Back in the day, I remember a number
of blokes had their Rangies converted to LPG.
I would like to know if anyone in the grand state of California has
attempted to get their Range Rover converted to a LPG or CNG setup.
'96 Discovery won't shift out of park29 Nov 2005 15:05 GMT15
The members of this forum have been very helpful in the past. Maybe you
can help with this one. My '96 Disco won't shift out of park. The
sunroof was leaking slightly and some water dripped into the shift
linkage. The shifter was somewhat stiff, but still shifted. Last
That old chestnut, what to do with the spare wheel29 Nov 2005 14:31 GMT10
I have just moved mine down from the roof, onto a bonnet with the
depression, however I can already see the disadvantages, in that it does
