My 1996 defender 90 300Tdi has been taken over by some demonic spirit which
won't let me switch off the wipers :-(
Got in tonight to go to work and realised I must have left the stalk in the
'on' position but I couldn't switch them off at all.

RRC electric mirror switch? I don't want to a buy a new one unless I'm sure
the reason i can't move them is the switch. It suddenly started working
yesterday, then after changing mirrors it stopped again so it probably is
the switch. It's a non-soft dash 1993 LSE.

Are 7.5x16 usable on a Disco 1?
Given this is an MOD lot I'm guessing they'll probably be Goodyear G90s.
