| On Broken Into Cars | 08 Nov 2005 08:35 GMT | 13 |
Apparently last night was a doozy - at 4pm today neither Autoglass nor Auto Windscreens were booking any more appointments for today and half of tomorrow had gone - apparently the toerags were using the cover of loud banging sounds to cover them breaking into cars.

| swivel preload adjustment | 07 Nov 2005 20:17 GMT | 3 |
I have a steering wobble at around 70mph (Disco 200TDi) which I think comes from the swivel pins (have replaced various bushes). According to workshop manual adjusting the preload is done without seal, etc, i.e. with swivel housing removed from axle.

| RRC LSE Brake pipes | 07 Nov 2005 18:46 GMT | 13 |
Had it serviced yesterday & the chap mentioned it will need the brake pipes doing before next MOT (April) I have never thought of doing it myself, but I am willing to give it a go. How hard is it? He reckons the front to back pipes are a twat but the rest are easy? How much for ...

| Hydraulic tappets. | 06 Nov 2005 12:00 GMT | 9 |
Some one must be a font on knowledge on these. I picked up the heads today for Morph and the conversation turned to hydraulic tappets. I won't pretend to understand them at the moment but could someone talk me through what if anything I need to do prior to rebuilding Morph.

| Upper tailgate needs a good slam | 05 Nov 2005 17:32 GMT | 6 |
My upper tailgate takes quite a bit of effort to get it to close properly. I have to give it a good slam in order for it to lock into place. Are there any adjustments that can be made so it takes less effort?
