I have a loose leaf workshop manual for my 85 Range Rover which is
getting a bit tatty.
We have a HP sheet fed scanner at work which I would like to use to scan
the manual and keep it as a pdf like the RAVE cd manuals (which don't

I was given the 90 a quick look over yesterday and found the top
mounting bush for the right rear damper is knackered (at least I
assume its the bush and not the bolt thats worn).  I can rotate the
damper housing about 1/4" - 3/8" around the fixing bolt.

         I have fitted a nato hitch to my 90, all ok so far, except for
when I try to use the hitch the spare wheel is in the way.
   I have decided to bite the bullet and go for  the macho "wheel on roof

Just purchased a nice ES Discovery...and was a bit surprized that id still
doesn't have an intergrated interior / map light...that even my old
Freelander had !
Does anybody know if the freelander unit will fit into the Disco, or if

Just picked up a 300tdi today. The car doesn't warm up, the temp gauge stays
around the cold marker even on a 250 mile drive. I am guessing thermostat,
am I right and is it a big job?

Got my big (100KVA) generator yesterday which has a Ford 2704ET 6
litre 6 cylinder turbo charged diesel engine driving it. Always said
I'd NEVER have a Ford and now I have one!!! Seems that these engines
are quite common in boats and Combine Harvesters <G>
