I happened across a 200tdi today whose owner claimed a genuine 280,000 hard
miles. No major engine work done to it. Missing fifth gear and failed MOT
due to broken chassis so now only used on his 2000 acres of private land.
'Not bad' is my though. So, are there any harder worked ...

Just for a few seconds this morning, it was about -6 last night, the levels fine, is it some kind of temp
warning?
It's the lowest right hand lamp on the instrument thingy on a 93 RRC LSE, not soft dash, but newer style
speedo.

As long as you declare and pay the appropriate duty you can basically use
any fuel to power your car ( Landrover ) legally........ I have just
registered myself to use bio-diesel etc.

and tightening the cylinder head on a 2.5 TD engine.
I do have the tightening sequence as quoted on the cylinder head's gasket

After a bit of hassle with carriers, Marge is getting an early Christmas
present: a new pair of doors.
They've arrived in some sort of yellow spray covering on the aly part

Well it's gone, the TD5 was sold yesterday :-( and I am now hunting for a
cheap replacement to cover me until the company car arrives in March (which
is a 4x4 but will remain nameless!!)
So anyway, I have taken out the Dastek Power plug which I fitted in October,
